These beefs from the New York rap scene are the ones that are killing it, according to Fabolous, who wants all MCs in the greatest American metropolis to squash everything.

Here's the olive branch extended by Fab, according to an interview on an All Access DVD:

"If you know me and follow my career, you know I ain't never been the type to speak nobody else name really. Or try to assasinate somebody else character and gain fame for myself -- I don't even speak n*ggas' names, to me, that's really bullsh*t, like, that's girl sh*t...I told [Maino] 'you gotta concentrate on making songs, like all the beef sh*t and all this sh*t n*ggas doing in the streets...' That's one of the things that hurt New York. N*ggas are not making songs, they're so busy talking about other motherf*ckers. I don't got no time to focus on other motherf*ckers, I"m focusing on my sh*t and me making hit songs continuously."

And Fab's hits are  memorable without question: "Keepin' It Gangsta", "Can't Deny It", "Young'n", and "Make Me Better" to name a few.

Beef is stupid, and I'm so glad Fab sees it that way. And if all the NYC hip-hop artists steered away from airing out hostility on songs and fighting on the streets and on the radio, then they could provide a positive blueprint for other areas of not only the country, but the world.

NYC is where it all started. Please don't let that area's music die.

Nuff said.
