With her close-cropped blonde hair and incredible figure, Amber Rose is striking by anyone's standards. But last night she took her look to new extremes in a silver Pam Hogg catsuit with plunging neckline.

The model stole the limelight from boyfriend Kanye West as they appeared together at the Persona magazine launch party in New York.

The rapper looked proud as he gazed up at his 26-year old dime who was wearing icy blue contact lenses for the occasion

Her pale eyes made for a dramatic contrast with her dark eyeliner and glowing skin. She towered over Kanye in black platform court shoes.

The former erotic dancer, whose father is Italian-American and mother is from Cape Verde, has appeared in music videos for the likes of Ludacris and Mary Mary.

She and Kanye, who she has been dating since February, were guests of honour at the party due to her appearance on the cover of Persona's launch issue.

In an interview she told how her intentions had been entirely professional when they met at the casting for his Robocop video: 'He wanted me for his Robocop video and he had the utmost respect for me,' she said.

'I was always a huge fan of his but he had a fiancee, it wasn't like, "Ah, I'm gonna get with Kanye."

'Kanye knew my life, so when it was, "Oh, Kanye do you know she was a stripper, and that she used to date girls?" he was like, "Tell me something I don't know."

Amber, who appears to be becoming a star independent of her famous boyfriend, was recently pictured with him in an iridescent orange thong bikini on a Barcelona beach.

She recently signed to top modelling agency Ford, and has also appeared in an advertising campaign for Louis Vuitton, modelling a range of shoes designed for the luxury label by her boyfriend.
